Delanta 80

Sprayhood and cockpit cover for a Delanta 80. Sprayhood is made in such a way that it can be walked past without detaching. The cockpit cover is attached with straps and click buckles, so that it can also be opened with 1 buckle to get out. Because the Delanta does not have gangways, the cockpit cover is attached with straps instead of pushers or Tenax or the like. so that it can be fastened from the inside.

Hood + rear part

Hood and rear part made of black Markilux. The parts are attached to each other with a Jacobs ladder instead of as standard with a zipper. The advantages are that the rear part can be tightened without much pulling. A zipper wears out quickly because there is so much tension on the teeth. Disadvantage: it is a bit more expensive than a zipper because of the work, but that outweighs having a new zipper installed every 3-4 years.

Tarpaulin annex tent for short stay aluminum fishing boat

The customer wanted a tent that would allow him to stay overnight while fishing and also serve as a tarpaulin. Made from a very light yet strong Seagard Flex material with PVC reinforcements at the “bottlenecks”. With back to back Velcro on the inside which is pulled through brackets.

Kuiptent met blindering

Made after the old tent. This one has been cut apart as a pattern. Experience has shown that there is an enormous risk that a fold or the like in the new one. can originate. This is because the moment the old one is separated, the material appears to “squirm”. You then have to work with weights, tape and estimate where the seams meet, etc. For this cockpit cover it worked out very well (also for others that I have made this way) but you save a lot of time (read money for the customer) not with you. Writing the references and taking out the old tent and modeling the old one on the new material takes as much time for us as making a mold on the boat. The advantage is that you are not dependent on the weather (which you are if you have to go to the boat to draw the template) and how and where the boat is in the water or on the trestle. Adjusting and placing are slightly less dependent on this. But we are (again) a bit (more) proud that we have a satisfied customer again.
